I would recommend "The 100-Year Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared" by Jonas Jonasson. Very clever, dense book.
As to our recent TV, "Penguin Bloom" (Netflix) and "The Peanut Butter Falcon" (Prime) are excellent.
I've been reading a lot of Octavia Butler lately including a short story collection called Blood Child. Rick Rubin's book on creativity is most excellent as well.
The Exceptions: Nancy Hopkins, MIT and the Fight For Women in Science, Kate Zernike
Fabulous book.
Good book? Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver. LONG but good, especially if listened to on Audible.
